My Book Bad Medicine Blues Is Now on Kindle (and Free to Read in Kindle Unlimited)
Some news I have been waiting to share with you.
My book, Bad Medicine Blues: The Natural, Root-Cause Approach to Women's Energy, Hormones, and Vitality, first came into the world last November. Until now, it lived only with a small circle of readers. As of this week, it is available on Amazon Kindle, and free to read for anyone with Kindle Unlimited.
If you have followed my work here, you already know the thread that runs through everything I do. We are each built differently, and real health begins when we stop forcing ourselves into someone else's protocol and start listening to what our own body, and our own design, has been trying to tell us…
Bad Medicine Blues is that same conviction, written for women who are tired of being told their bloodwork is normal while they feel anything but.
What the book is about
It is a calm, well-researched map of the whole-person approach to women's health, written for women moving through perimenopause and beyond. Across its chapters it walks through the foundations that actually move the needle: food, light, sleep, movement, minerals, and the gut. It looks honestly at the whole cycle, from the menstrual years through menopause. And it weighs the tools fairly, from functional medicine and herbs to creatine, peptides, and the new weight-loss injections everyone is talking about.
No shame. No fear-selling. No thousand-dollar supplement haul. Just a clear place to start, wherever you are standing right now.
I wrote it as someone who walked the road myself, not from a comfortable distance. That is the only way I know how to write.
Why Kindle Unlimited
I wanted this book to reach the woman who needs it, not just the woman who can spend on it. Kindle Unlimited lets you read the whole thing at no extra cost if you are a member, and the price to own it is a gentle one either way. That felt right for a book about coming home to yourself.
Read it
You can find Bad Medicine Blues on Amazon Kindle here.
If it speaks to you, a short, honest review helps another woman find it more than almost anything else. And if you know someone in the thick of the change who has been feeling unseen, this book was written for her too.
More soon. This is the first of a series, and the next books are almost complete.
With love and alignment,
Dr. LaVeena B. Archers
